Lake Level January 2013

 Winter Lake Level, 2009

Letter to State Park

Lake Level

On September 23, 2014, the board responded to pleas from Dave Mahannah to not to begin lowering the lake until December 1, 2014 for this year.

The HLPS Board took action in 2005 and documented those actions in a letter to the Superintendant of the State Park in 2005. Click on the link at the left to read that letter.

Summer level -- 594.2 feet above sea level.

Winter level    --  592.1 feet above sea level.

There has been some discussion as to whether the lake level was effected by the repairs made in 2008. Click on the link at the left to read a discussion and see pictures of what we saw in December 2009.
